All six surviving examples of Sir Nigel Gresley's A4 class were on display in the Great Hall at the National Railway Museum, York.
I made two visits, first on a very crowded Saturday afternoon and again for the private photography session on the following morning.
I think that everyone who has had a hand in bringing about this magnificent (And magnificently successful, if the length of the queues to get in are any guide.) event is to be thanked and congratulated. Brilliant!
