Ex-GWR King class 4-6-0 no. 6023 King Edward II is about to take water from the column at Loughborough Central. 6023 was the only locomotive working during the Swithland Gala that was facing north. This was also the loco's final appearance at the GCR before its return to the Great Western Society's Didcot Railway Centre.
