There was only one steam locomotive in use at each line, but that was enough to put my new toy, a Canon EOS M camera, through its paces. And I have to say that it's a great little camera which is going to get a lot of use in the future.
The Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway was visited first and hey were using their regular (i.e. only) steamer - RSH 0-6-0ST no. 71515. The next stop was at the Dean Forest Railway, where GWR 57xx 0-6-0PT no. 9681 was seen.
