On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the gala week, a photocharter was run in the period before normal passenger services started. On Tuesday 24th, the locomotive used was ex-LNWR 'Super D' 0-8-0 No. 49395, paired with a short train of freight vehicles, seen here as it leaves Glyndyfrdwy.
