I returned to the Severn Valley Railway only two days after my previous visit. This time the occasion was a 30742 Charters event with no. 7820 Dinmore Manor, one of the three Manor class locomotives that took part in the Manor 50 event of the previous weekend. I was expecting the day to be a complete washout because of the dire weather forecast, but it turned out much better than expected and we even got a few minutes of bright sunshine in the afternoon.
