I travelled down to the Isle of Purbeck on the 10th November for a Don Bishop photo charter on the Swanage Railway which was to take place the following day. A good thing I did, as I was able to get some shots of the charter loco, M7 0-4-4T no. 30053 in sunlight. As you can see, the weather on the 11th left a lot to be desired!
30053 was renumbered as classmate no. 30108 for the charter, as that locomotive had been a regular performer on Swanage line services in BR days.
