63395 at Grosmont I

16th July was my big day on the NYMR as I had been given a footplate experience as a 60th birthday present by a group of my oldest friends. On arrival at Grosmont, it became apparent that I would be riding on ex NER/LNER Q6 0-8-0 No. 63395, a locomotive that I had not even seen in steam before. My first view of No. 63395 was from the level crossing at Grosmont.
