On Saturday 9th August 2008, in a remarkable illustration of 120 years of British main line steam locomotive development, BR class 7MT 4-6-2 No 70013 Oliver Cromwell towers over Manchester Museum of Science and Industry's working replica of Robert Stephenson's 2-2-0 locomotive, Planet. 70013 will spend the night on the museum's tracks prior to hauling the Manchester Victoria to Carlisle leg of the 40th anniversary re-run of BR's last mainline steam train, 1T57.
