On the beautiful morning of May 12th 2012, ex-LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0s Nos. 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier and 44871 still have a long day ahead as they run along the South Wales mainline to the west of Pencoed with the Newport to Shrewsbury leg of the Central Wales Explorer.
