My visit to the 2009 Cotswold Festival of Steam at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway was not a good day for me as my EOS 40D developed a shutter fault soon after I arrived which put an end to the day's photography. On the up side, I not only got the camera repaired for free, despite it being just out of warranty, I also purchased a new EOS 50D body the next day.
