Images from a four day visit to Iceland - cold, expensive beer, dramatic scenery and more cold. And we were fortunate to see the Northern Lights on our first evening, the only clear night of our stay.
The brief hours of daylight at this time of year and the fact that one of our three pre-booked full day excursions was cancelled at short notice due to bad weather not withstanding, our stay was far too short to see even a small proportion of what Iceland has to offer.
