The Great Central Railway's Autumn Stam Gala saw the inaugural use of the full layout at Swithland Sidings. As I expected, this proved to be a major draw for the lineside fraternity. The weather on the day was superb with clear blue skies and bright sunshine for almost all of the day and certainly rather different to the conditions of the previous day.
