Normally based on the Llangollen Railway but visiting the SVR to appear as a guest locomotive in the previous weekend's Spring Steam Gala, BR Standard Class 4 2-6-4T no. 80072 makes it way light engine from The Rock stabling point at Bewdley to Kidderminster where it is rostered to haul the second northbound service of the day.
Shooting against the light, I decided to make this frame monochrome. Compare it to the following image which is still in colour.
