Due to the Norton Triangle hosting a ballast train off the national network, the WSR was unable to use the facility during the morning of the opening day of the gala. As a result, the first three passenger workings out of Minehead were all worked tender first so that the locomotives would be right way round for the return journey. Here we see ex-GWR Modified Hall 4-6-0 no. 6969 Raveningham Hall while it pauses at Dunster with the 10:47 service from Minehead.
