Steam on the Main Line April 2011

The first sequence on this video shows ex-GWR Hall class 4-6-0 No. 4965 Rood Ashton Hall and GWR Castle class 4-6-0 no. 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe working hard as they approach Frampton Mansell foot crossing, near the top of the climb to Sapperton Tunnel in the Golden Valley, with The Coronation Express outbound from Tyseley to Didcot on Saturday 2nd April 2011.
Then follows two shots of GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5029 Nunney Castle on the Great Britain IV railtour. Firstly on the climb to Llanvihangel summit, through Pontrilas en route to Bristol on the seventh day of its travels around the country on 22nd April 2011. Finally the same train isthe train is seen coming off the flyover that carries the Up Slow line over the GWML fast lines at Llandevenny, slowing for the planned water stop at Magor, a little further to the east.
