The 2013 Compo Club photocharter at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway featured two ex-LNWR locos, Webb 'Coal Tank' 0-6-2T no. 1054 and Beames 'Super D' 0-8-0 no. 49395. Both of these classes have strong connections with the former LNWR lines in South Wales.
