6024 King Edward I made its final main line appearance for some time on March 17th 2012, when it worked the Torbay Limited from Bristol Temple Meads to Kingswear and back. Pending major overhaul not withstnding, the King appears to be in fine fettle as it storms past Knapp Farm foot crossing near Allerford with the Down train.
